Thank you for always using SocialDog.
We have resumed providing the follower management and follower analysis features today. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused our users.
Features that have been reinstated
If your Twitter account is private, the following features will not be available.
- analysis
- We've made it possible to re-check information such as the number of new followers and new followings that is displayed on the dashboard and in follower analytics.
- Followers
- We've made it possible to re-check information such as the users you follow and your followers.
Background of the resumption of service
To comply with the recent introduction of paid Twitter API services, we have switched the source of our follower and following information to a joint development project with NTT Data's "Nazuki no Oto."
Regarding following, unfollowing, muting, blocking, and liking
We sincerely apologize, but we have discontinued the following functions on SocialDog. From now on, you will need to perform these operations on the Twitter screen.
- Follow
- Unfollow
- mute
- block
- nice
With the introduction of paid services for the Twitter API, there are now limits on the number of times the API can be used. Therefore, we have determined that it is difficult to provide these features without exceeding the API limits.
Regarding follower and following information, we have switched to a joint development with NTT Data's "Nazuki no Oto," which eliminates the use of the Twitter API. However, since operations such as following and unfollowing are not provided, these functions have unfortunately had to be discontinued.
We apologize for not being able to meet your expectations. We will continue to explore ways to make these features available again in the future.
Note
Any new follows, unfollows, new followers, or unfollows that occurred during the feature suspension period will be displayed as having occurred after the feature was resumed.
Therefore, the numbers for new follows, unfollows, new followers, and unfollows may appear to have increased dramatically. We apologize, but we are unable to recover this data.
At SocialDog, we will continue to work hard every day to develop services that will satisfy everyone.
We would appreciate your continued patronage.
