We have implemented various information security measures to ensure that you can use SocialDog with peace of mind.
Acquired ISO27001 (ISMS)
SocialDog Co., Ltd., which operates SocialDog, has obtained ISO27001 (ISMS) certification, an international standard also obtained by listed companies, and operates in accordance with strict security standards.
*ISO27001 (ISMS) certification: This is an international standard for protecting information assets and ensuring proper organizational security. It is also called an Information Security Management System (ISMS).
Security of communications
To prevent third parties from eavesdropping on or tampering with communications, we encrypt data using SSL/TLS on all pages and for all communications.
Data backup
Your data is always backed up to prepare for any eventual failure. Even if data is lost due to human error by a system administrator, we have a system in place to restore it.
Highly secure and reliable data center
SocialDog operates on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), a cloud service operated by Google, specifically in its domestic data center (Tokyo region). GCP is used by many customers worldwide and is protected by extremely high reliability and world-class security.
For information on GCP security, please refer to the GCP website .
However, some data, such as payment and authentication system data, may be stored outside of GCP's domestic data centers.
Credit card information security
Credit card information is strictly managed by Stripe , a highly reliable international payment platform provider that complies with industry-standard security criteria PCI DSS and is a PCI Level 1 service provider. We do not store credit card information ourselves.
SNS IDs and passwords
Because SocialDog retrieves and updates your social media account data using a mechanism called "OAuth," you do not need to register your social media account password with SocialDog.
Therefore, there is no need to worry about your social media account passwords being leaked.
