Thank you for always using "SocialDog".

We are pleased to announce the release of the following new pricing plans.

Once the new pricing plan is released, it will no longer be possible to subscribe to or change to the old pricing plan.

Customers currently using a paid plan can continue to use the features and pricing of their current plan even after the new plan is released. There will be no changes to the price or available features, so please rest assured.

  1. The "Hashtag Search" feature is scheduled for release in late August 2020.
  1. A new version of "Users who retweeted" that is less likely to miss any retweets will be released in September 2020 or later. This feature will be available only with the Business plan.

Fees for using multiple Twitter accounts

If you use the service with multiple Twitter accounts, you will be charged for each account. For example, if you use the Pro plan (monthly payment) with three Twitter accounts, the cost will be 5,980 * 3 = 17,940 yen.

In the old plan, pricing was only available in tiers based on the number of Twitter accounts linked to SocialDog: 2, 5, 10, 20, and 50. For example, if you wanted to use it with 3 accounts, you had to subscribe to the "5" linked account plan. We received many requests for improvement, so in the new pricing plan, we have eliminated the tiers based on the number of linked accounts, and you can now subscribe to only the number of accounts you need.

We now accept invoice payments (bank transfers) (from late August 2020).

In response to numerous requests, we will begin accepting invoice payments from late August 2020. Corporate and sole proprietor customers can now pay by bank transfer, with billing at the end of the month and payment due at the end of the following month.

Customers who are already using SocialDog

Customers using a paid plan

Customers who were using a paid plan before the release of the new plan will remain on their previous plan and there will be no changes. Please rest assured that there will be no changes to the fees or available features.

After the new plan is released, it will no longer be possible to change back to the old plan (including changes to the number of linked accounts and changes to monthly/annual payment options). If you wish to change your plan while still using the old plan, please do so before the release date mentioned above.

Please note that if you cancel your old plan, you will not be able to reapply for or use the old plan again.

Customers using the Free plan

Customers currently using the Free plan will be automatically switched to the Lite plan (free). Like the Free plan, the Lite plan will remain completely free of charge.

Some of the following features will no longer be available in the free (Lite plan).

  • In the dashboard, analytics, and posting history, you can access data older than 3 months.
  • Keyword monitor setting: 5 → 3

After the new plan is released, it will no longer be possible to change back to the old paid plan. If you wish to continue using the service at the old plan's price, please change your plan before the release date mentioned above.

If you currently have two Twitter accounts linked, you can use both accounts for the time being. However, please note that if you delete a linked account, the maximum number of linked accounts will be reduced to one, and you will not be able to add any new ones.

Q&A

How can I check which plan I'm currently using?

You can check your current plan under Plan/Payment . After a new plan is released, if you are using an old plan, it will be displayed as "Old Basic Plan (2018)".

What happens if I switch from the old paid plan to the new plan?

If you switch to a paid plan, the charges will be calculated on a pro-rata basis and billed accordingly. For details, please see the section on billing for usage fees when changing plans .

Are the old Pro plan and the new Pro plan different plans?

This is a different plan. The price and some features will differ.

You can check which plan you are currently using in Plan/Payment . After the release of the new plan, if you are using the old Pro plan, it will be displayed as "Old Pro Plan (2018)". If you are using the new Pro plan, it will be displayed as "Pro Plan".

If I start a free trial before the release of the new plan, and the free trial ends after the release of the new plan, will I be automatically switched to the new plan?

Even if your free trial ends after the release of the new plan, you will remain on the plan you subscribed to when you started the free trial.
