Update date: 2025/06/02

Using "RSS Auto Posting," you can automatically post updates to your website or blog using an RSS feed.

You will no longer need to manually post updates every time you update the site.

Providing helpful information to your followers will increase engagement.

The number of posts allowed, the interval between posts retrieved, and the maximum number of posts vary depending on the plan. Please check the plan table for details on available plans.

The mechanism of "automatic RSS posting"

  1. In the steps for adding RSS automatic posting , make sure to add the RSS feed to "RSS automatic posting".
  1. SocialDog automatically checks RSS feeds periodically and posts new articles if any are found.

Supported feed formats

To use RSS automated posting, the target website or other content must provide a feed in one of the following formats:

  • RDF/RSS 1.0
  • RSS 2.0
  • Atom 0.3 and Atom 1.0

What is an RSS feed?

RSS feeds are a technology used to deliver updates from websites and blogs, including the date, title, and a summary of the content. Many major blogging services and news sites support RSS feeds.

Links to RSS feeds are often indicated by an orange icon like this. Not all web pages have a feed URL. This feature is not available for websites that do not provide RSS feeds. If you are unsure whether this feature is available, please contact the site administrator.

Points to note

  • Let's post content that your followers are likely to be interested in.
  • Please be aware that posting too frequently or too often may cause people to unfollow you.
  • If the content is exactly the same consecutively, it will not be published due to the specifications of X (Twitter).
  • Data posted via "RSS automatic posting" will not be displayed in the posting history of multiple posts.

When it doesn't work properly
